The research shows that the more intensively parents
are involved in their children's learning, the more beneficial are the
achievement effects. This holds true for all types of parent involvement in
children's learning and for all types and ages of students.

children's formal education improves student achievement.
Parent involvement is more
effective when it is comprehensive and well planned. Neff
Elementary offers a Parent Center where different classes and activities
for Parents and Community members are provided. The center is equipped with
computers, books, videos, etc. There is something useful for every parent to
help their child/children. Neff provides avenues for families to feel welcomed,
respected, trusted, needed, and most importantly to become involved in their
children's education.
Neff Parent Center is opened Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m to 3:00
